Uthando Project

Local government & community development programmes

Uthando has experience in developing and leading dollmaking workshops with a wide range of different community groups.

We have worked with groups like Indigenous Australians, Migrant and Humanitarian groups, Communities at Risk, Early Childhood Development training centres, Mental Health, Intergenerational dollmaking, Detention Centres, Correctional Facilities, Aged Care occupational health and Day Care Centres, People living with Disabilities, and many more.
We have also presented information sessions to many clubs and service groups.

We can offer existing courses or create new programs, such as presentations that lead to dollmaking, 1, 2 and 3-day courses, and longer courses with up to 12 weekly sessions.

Contact us if you’d like to discuss possibilities for a dollmaking project.
